Announcing (and Releasing) “Flashcity”

Just a couple of days ago, I sat down to test some ideas for a Flash game and came up with a kind of remake of the classic Simcity. In fact, just a couple of days into development, the game has now already grown to a stage where I decided to release it here. This is certainly the fastest gaming project that I've done to date (though progress on Densha Driver is also fast whenever I sit down to work on it, but that's a different story).

Flashcity (work title) lets you build a metropolis. Place power plants, roads, residential buildings and more to lure residents into your city and earn taxes to use for further development of the city.

You can read more about the game on the project page, and then jump right in and build your own little city. There's an in game help available to explain the various functions.

Meanwhile, I will continue to work on the game. New versions will be uploaded from time to time as development progresses, so make sure to check back every now and then if you like the game. Oh, and if you have feedback or comments, feel free to use the contact form.
