New features at Kotogoto
We've added new ways of accessing the information on this blog. Check it out!
A couple of days ago, I set myself these tasks: Make navigation at Kotogoto more convenient for people who want to read multiple articles, create new ways of accessing the articles and show connections between articles that deal with the same topic. The results of these tasks have been implemented at Kotogoto now.
As of today, you can jump from any article to the next and previous article in chronological order. At the bottom of the article page, you will see links to the previous and next posts and you will even see the headlines of these articles. Alternatively, you can go directly to the complete article list from there, a feature which could only be reached via “archives” in the navigation before.
The second new feature is by far the more powerful one of the two: I've added tags to all articles, which means that it is now possible to display all articles on a given topic. Again, below the article, look for the line that says “tags”. Click on any tag to get a list of all articles on Kotogoto that deal with this topic. If for example you came here to read an article about architecture, you can display a list of all articles about architecture on Kotogoto in the blink of an eye, and read on from there. And in order to quickly jump into any topic from the main blog page, there's a box in the right-hand column that displays all available tags.

Whoo! Awesome work Toby! Works great and it's very useful! I need to interrogate you sometime to find out how you implemented tagging.
Sure, no problem. Just drop me a mail and I'll be glad to help you. :-)
